Meet Dr. Mia Jennings (Colorado Springs, CO)
Dr. Mia Jennings earned her undergraduate degree before gaining a Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry, where she graduated with honors in 1999.
In 2000 she was commissioned in the US Air Force. She became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2005 and has a special interest in treating acute ocular injuries and diseases. Dr. Jennings was the Medical Services Flight Commander at Vance Air Force Base when she retired in 2016. She now lives in Colorado Springs and works for ABBA Eye Care.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her two sons.

I have a very high prescription in both contacts and glasses, and glasses often make me feel dizzy—like I’m living in a fishbowl. She worked diligently to help find the best solution for my glasses and took the time to truly understand my concerns. I also tend to struggle with medical anxiety, and her warm, calming demeanor always helps me feel completely at ease. She’s fun, friendly, communicates everything clearly, and gives thoughtful options without ever making me feel pressured. I trust her so much that I recently encouraged my parent to become patients as well. Highly recommend!
